Things I’m doing at 39 instead of Botox! After a year of not getting it, in my experience obviously nothing replaces the muscle freezing mechanism of neuromodulators. But these are the things that have helped my skin stay glowy and smooth!

1. Skincare is NUMBER ONE! It’s what we do every day (twice a day) that makes the biggest difference in the quality of our skin. I focus on exfoliation and hydration 💧 full routines can be found on my reels and my website

2. Face tape! I’ve been using tape from @naturalfacebible a few times a week and I love it to prevent lines from sleep. I’ve improved my technique since this picture 🙃

3. Red light! @drdennisgross came on my podcast (episode not out yet) and explained that the light is basically an ingredient therefore you need to be consistent. When I am, I notice improvement in fine lines, overall tone and brightness

4. Face massage 💆🏼‍♀️ I need to get on a good routine of going monthly (I love @koshaspa for massage) because it makes a huge difference with releasing tension (especially buccal massage), plumpness and contour of my face

5. Gua sha - I’m a total novice but when I’m consistent my skin is less puffy and I feel like I get a little lift right after

6. This is a bonus - but having fun & being truly happy give a glow that you can’t get anywhere else 💓

I’ve been traveling for 2 weeks in Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda in both hot and cold climates, forest, dusty dry savanna and humid jungle and my skin has remained plump dewy and hydrated💧

I’ve been doing this routine for 2+ years (c/o @thelafacialist )except for the @clarinsusa which is a relatively recent addition to my lineup. I’ve experimented with which step I use it in and this is what works best for me!
