about  ME

Arielle Lorre is a lifestyle, wellness, and health influencer living in Los Angeles. Twelve years ago, that was far from the case. After nearly losing her battle against addiction, Arielle decided to turn her life around by relentlessly pursuing health and happiness.

In 2016, Arielle made her Instagram debut, which lead to the creation of her semi-eponymous website, The Blonde Files, in 2018. Arielle’s distinct voice and candor immediately distinguished the platform from others in the space. This quickly became a unique online destination, where Arielle continues to explore her recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, and the beautiful road that lies ahead, post-recovery.

Since then, Well with Arielle Lorre podcast has also been created.

your  QUESTIONS
ANSWERED

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE WELLNESS HABITS?

Lately I’ve been really anchored in the basics (morning light, food + water before caffeine, and a savory, protein-forward breakfast). I try to stack habits where I can (like walking during calls) and stay consistent with movement, cooking at home, and buying local. Sleep, reading, meditation, and sauna are my constant resets!

HOW DO YOU STAY CONSISTENT WITH EXERCISE WHEN YOU'RE NOT MOTIVATED?

I stopped waiting to feel motivated, and that was the biggest shift for me. Motivation is fleeting; discipline is what actually gets you there. I also don't guilt myself for missing a day. I just ask myself what kind of movement feels doable right now (even if it's just a 20-minute walk). Something always beats nothing, and I've never once regretted a workout after the fact.

WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO TO LOOK AND FEEL YOUNG AT 40?

It's a combination of habits I've built over time and that I stay consistent with. The big ones I’d say are drinking a ton of water with electrolytes every single day, protecting my skin from the sun while still getting vitamin D, prioritizing 7-9 hours of sleep like it's a non-negotiable, walking everywhere, cooking at home as much as possible, infrared sauna at least 4 days a week, red and near infrared light on my face, neck and chest 3-5 times a week, acupuncture regularly for hormone balance, meditating, and genuinely investing in my social life and relationships. It sounds like a lot written out, but most of it is just part of my daily rhythm now.

WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU'D DONE FOR YOUR SKIN IN YOUR 20S?

Three things: SPF every single day without exception, not tanning as much, and starting a retinoid earlier. Some things I'm doing for my skin now are partially undoing damage from my 20s, when I thought none of it mattered. Start earlier than you think you need to. Your future self will be so grateful.

DO YOU ACTUALLY MEDITATE EVERY DAY?

I try to, and on the days I don't, I can feel it. It doesn't have to be long or perfect (I'm not sitting in lotus pose for an hour). It's usually 5-10 minutes first thing in the morning, before the noise of the day gets in. What it's done for my stress levels and my ability to be present is something no supplement or skincare product could replicate. It's the one habit I always come back to, no matter how off track I get with everything else.

HOW DO YOU MAINTAIN CLOSE FRIENDSHIPS AS AN ADULT?

It takes actual effort, and I think people don't talk about that enough. Adult friendships don't just happen; you have to be intentional about showing up for people even when life gets busy. Quality over quantity is everything for me at this stage of life.
