Since we have a little more time on our hands with social distancing, it’s a perfect time to do some baking. I adapted these BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS from Beaming Baker with just a few tweaks and they are absolutely delish.
Since we have a little more time on our hands with social distancing, it’s a perfect time to do some baking. I adapted these BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS from Beaming Baker with just a few tweaks and they are absolutely delish.
+ 1 banana
+ 1.5 cups rolled oats
+ 1/4 cup cashew butter
+ 2 tbsp maple syrup
+ 1 tbsp coconut oil
+ 1 egg
+ 1 tsp vanilla extract
+ 1/4 tsp baking soda
+ Pinch of sea salt
Toppings/filling:
+ Evolved Chocolate bar
+ 1/2 cup shredded coconut for filling
+ Flaked coconut for topping
+ 1/4 cup sliced almonds
1. Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit
2. Mash banana then mix in wet ingredients until smooth
3. Add dry ingredients and fillings
4. Add to a lined 8x8 baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes
5. Add flaked coconut and cook another 2-3 minutes until browned
