I made these gluten-free, refined sugar-free donuts with a 2 ingredient caramel cause and they were so easy and SO delicious! Even my real-donut loving partner couldn’t get enough of these. Here’s a reel on how I mad them. Enjoy!
I made these gluten-free, refined sugar-free donuts with a 2 ingredient caramel cause and they were so easy and SO delicious! Even my real-donut loving partner couldn’t get enough of these. Here’s a reel on how I mad them. Enjoy!
+ 1 cup almond flour
+ 2 tbsp coconut flour
+ 2 eggs
+ 1/4 cup maple syrup
+ 1 tsp baking soda
+ 1 tsp vanilla
+ 1/4 cup coconut sugar
+ 1 tbsp cinnamon
GLAZE:
+ 1/4 cup creamy almond butter
+ 1/4 cup maple syrup
1. Preheat oven to 350˚ Fahrenheit.
2. Combine all donut ingredients and mix thoroughly.
3. Lightly grease a donut pan and spoon dough into molds, filling each to the top.
4. Bake for 10 minutes or until donuts have risen and are lightly browned.
5. Remove, let cool and then flip pan upside down to get donuts out.
6. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar (you can brush lightly with coconut oil or ghee to make it easier to adhere).
7. Optional but recommended - add to air fryer at 400˚ for 3-4 minutes to get outside slightly crispy.
8. Separately, combine almond butter and syrup for glaze and either spoon it over donuts or use for dipping!
