In my recent solo episode, I took listener questions and it’s no surprise you all wanted to hear about my boob job, plastic surgery and beauty secrets. While Hollywood is pretty hush hush about their plastic surgery, I’m an open book when it comes to the procedures I’ve had done. I just want to be as transparent and honest with you guys. When celebrities lie about what they’ve had done, it sets an unrealistic standard of beauty which is not healthy for anyone. So… I’m spilling the tea and answering all your beauty questions.
Do you prefer Botox and filler or surgery?
Surgery is by far the best way to achieve drastic results (imo). My philosophy is to nip something in the bud rather than to do a bunch of minimally invasive procedures like fillers, threads (which I hate), Botox, lasers, etc. While I do some Botox here and there, and love lasers for my skin, I don’t think they’re as effective for tightening, lifting, etc. If you’re hoping for drastic results, surgery is probably the best route. Otherwise, you’ll may be disappointed since surgery can do things that Botox and filler can’t.
How to people in Hollywood stay so thin?
There is a lot of buzz right now about Ozempic and other weight loss injections that celebrities are allegedly using to lose weight. However, celebrities also have access to the best trainers, nutritionists, chefs, wellness gurus, and doctors. Since image is everything, they have incentive and a lot at stake regarding the way they look. There is also this misconception that only obese or severely overweight people can get liposuction, but that simply is not the case. It’s come a long way and it’s easier and more accessible (especially in LA) than ever. I had it done on the back of my arms when I got my boobs done and it made a huge difference! There are some amazing doctors in LA and procedures now require very little downtime so in LA, surgery is like getting a blowout.
Are there any procedures you regret having done?
I’ve talked about threads a LOT so I won’t go on another tangent, but I would never do them again. I’m absolutely in love with the way my boob job and lift turned out! It honestly gave me so much more confidence and I would 100% do it again. Lately though, I kind of regret getting my nose job. Unique noses give so much character to someone’s face, and if I could go back, I would have done less to it. Again, embracing your more natural beauty is another beauty trend we’re seeing right now, so things always come and go.
What are some beauty routines and things you do regularly?
Every winter, I do a lot of laser treatments (IPL & BBL) all over my body. I absolutely love lasers! They help so much with sun damage because when I was young, I spent WAY too much time in the sun and at the tanning salon. It was that era of looking as tan as you possibly could with no regard for the damage you were doing to your skin. I also like to get monthly facials, massages, etc. and I get my nails done every 4-5 weeks.
What is your current skincare routine?
Over the summer though, my skin went berserk so I went on Spironolactone. So far so good, but I’ll keep you posted if anything changes. I also I recently went back on Jan Marini’s Skincare Management System and I swear my skin has never been more hydrated and glowy! I get compliments all the time on my skin – from men and women.
