Salt & Pepper Chicken

It’s salt and pepper chicken night pretty much every night in my household, and for good reason—it’s that good! Every time I share it on my stories, so many of you ask for the recipe, and I realized I’ve never actually posted it here. The best part? It’s incredibly easy to make. I usually cook a big batch so I can freeze portions for quick lunches throughout the week. Here’s a video of how I make it. Enjoy!

Ingredients

+ Chicken breasts
+ Salt
+ Pepper
+ Oil
+ Sides of your choice

Instructions

1. Pound the chicken breasts until they’re about ½ to ¾ inch thick.

2. Season generously with pepper and a pinch of salt (I actually just like salt with mine).

3. Heat a drizzle of oil in a skillet over high heat until it’s very hot.

4. Add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, until golden, slightly browned, and a crisp crust forms.

5. Remove from the skillet, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve with your favorite sides.
