The Infamous Crowd Pleaser Cookies

If you follow me over on instagram you’ve seen me post these cookies – like a lot. They are one of the first recipes I came up with and they are a hit with absolutely everybody who I’ve ever made them for.

They are:

VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE, REFINED SUGAR FREE, GRAIN FREE so they’re pretty much air, right?

Run, don’t walk, to make these!


+ 2.5 cups almond flour⁣
+ ½ - 3/4 cup coconut sugar⁣
+ ½ tsp baking soda
+ 1 tbsp chia seeds⁣
+ 1 cup nut (or seed) butter⁣ (I like cashew)
+ ½ cup maple syrup⁣ (or lakanto maple syrup)
+ 1 tbsp apple sauce⁣
+ 1 tsp pure vanilla extract⁣
+ 1 Hu Dark Chocolate Cashew Butter Bar⁣
+ salt flakes, for topping⁣


1. Combine all ingredients; extra points if you can refrigerate dough for 30 mins before baking ⁣

2. Roll into about 7 balls and flatten into patties about 1/3 inch thick; place on cookie sheet⁣

3. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until starting to brown⁣

4. Add chocolate for 1 minute at the end ⁣

One of the great things about this recipe is that it doesn’t have to be precise! I never actually measure anything out i just eyeball it and taste as I go. ENJOY the chewy gooeyness and tag me #tbfcrowdpleaser when you make them!
